Sylphs( The air holds mysteries)

Spirit of the air is what they call it. In the ancient western tradition it is believed that there exists some kind of energy in the air called Sylphs. They are invisible beings of the air. Sylphs have been a major topic in the field of fairytales and fiction movies. One of the most popular movie that has used the concept is Harry Potter. These air spirits are portrayed as guardians who protect secret knowledge and beautiful women and are said to be mischievous with men.

What’s so special about Sylphs?

Sylphs are known to be invisible and they also have a type of intelligence that men lack. They have believed to have a deep sense of understanding between nature and its connections. It is also said that the future holds some mysteries about them.

                       Weakness

Sylphs have the power to freely move in the air but like humans they can be harmed by physical entities such as fire, water etc. Mythology says that sylphs can fall sick and even die and when they die they simply stop existing. The mysteries further reveal that these spirits can have immortal souls if they marry humans.

Although they exist only in folk tales, the idea of Sylphs is really pretty interesting.
